So, I jumped on the elf on a shelf band wagon. In previous years I just kind of thought it was yet another thing to bribe with and over the top thing moms do these days. I will just tell you that I'm so glad I did (even though 4 out of 5 nights so far when I get up to pee I remember to move the dang elf, TMI... I know).
It kept popping up on my Amazon page as I was Christmas shopping so I decided to show Randy the little dude. I truly thought he would think it was silly. I was wrong. He told me the kids would love it and to order it right away.
So December 1st our elf on a shelf package made its debut. It was so fun! We read the story while we answered 1,000 questions at the same time. In the end when it came time to name our elf they were stumped for a bit. Koop asked if it was a boy and I said he was. So Koop said, "Okay then lets name him Boy". That got Khloee's brain turning and she said, "How about Man" (creative kids right ;) ). So to make it fair that everybody got input we named him Boyman.
I will have to post a couple of the goofy things that Boyman has been up to. Our elf doesn't bring extravagant gifts and we don't really bribe a whole lot with him but the looks on the kiddos faces every morning when they see Boyman moved spots is priceless. Magic through a kids eyes!
